VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City Parks and Recreation wants to invite all members of the community to join us at the 2nd annual Valley Parks Craft and Vendor Show happening on Saturday, August 3rd from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at Chautauqua Park in Valley City. Featuring 35-45 booths, you can find unique items including home decor, health and wellness products, goat milk soap, candles, clothing, jewelry, plants, freeze-dried goodies, sports memorabilia, and much more. Whether you’re looking for unique gifts or something special for yourself, you’re sure to find it here! Admission to this event is free and the community is encouraged to attend and support our local artisans! There will be delicious food and beverage options available including Reister Meats, Doodling Dixies, Brockopp Brewing, and Cottonwood Cider House. Whether you’re looking for a savory bite, a refreshing drink, or something sweet, these vendors have you covered.

This event is happening in conjunction with Sheyenne RiverFest, the area’s largest river festival where kayakers and canoers float down the scenic Sheyenne River to create a stunning canvas of brightly colored boats sprinkled along the river. This event helps promote recreation on the river as well as develop the soon to be nationally delegated Sheyenne River Water Trail with accessible docking, landings, and amenities along the river for users of all ages to enjoy. The RiverFest raffle drawing will take place at 1:00 PM at Chautauqua Park for items including kayaks, a grill, a patio set, handcrafted paddle, gift cards, and more! Raffle tickets can be purchased now through 1:00 PM August 3rd. Proceeds from this raffle directly benefit the Water Trail and the development of safe and accessible water recreation access for everyone.
