The City of Jamestown Vector Control Department is taking aim at mosquitos with fogging scheduled for this week.
Here’s the breakdown:
- Wednesday, July 31st: Fogging will target the Northwest (NW) and Southwest (SW) areas of the city.
- Thursday, August 1st: Fogging efforts will shift to the Northeast (NE) and Southeast (SE) areas.
Fogging will start at approximately 9:00 pm each night and continue until complete.

- Residents are advised to keep children and pets indoors and away from fogging trucks during these times.
- Motorists should exercise caution in areas undergoing fogging due to reduced visibility.
