CARRINGTON- The 2024 Class B 13-15 Babe Ruth State Championship was won by the Kindred Vikings on Monday in Carrington.
State Championship Game: Kindred 12 LaMoure 2 (6)
The Kindred Vikings finished off a 28-1 season by beating the LaMoure A’s to win the Class B Babe Ruth State Championship for the third time and first since 2015. Three players each scored two runs each and Luke Starcevic tossed five innings for the win.
Second Semifinal: LaMoure 22 Beulah 8 (5)
The A’s scored the last fourteen runs to break open an 8-8 game and advance to their second consecutive Class B State Championship game. Every LaMoure player scored at least one run in the win and Easton Thielges threw all five innings.
