VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Public School District installed more security cameras back in 2018 thanks to a $30-thousand-dollar grant.

Superintendent Josh Johnson said safety and security remain a top priority, so the school district applied for a $500-thousand-dollar COPS grant to enhance the safety of our students and staff members.

The School District submitted the COPS grant to the Department of Justice last month, the district finds out in October if their request is approved. The full interview with Johnson on this topic and other school district projects is below.
