VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCPD) – The Valley City Police Department is notifying residents about a high-risk sex offender who has recently moved to Valley City. Aaron Paul Bever, 39, is now residing at 204 3rd Ave SE Apt # 3, Valley City, ND 58072. Bever has no vehicle at this time.

Bever, a white male, is 6 feet 3-inch-tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has hazel eyes and brown hair. He has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, Office of the Attorney General.

Bever was convicted of sexual assault of a 15-year-old or younger in December of 2020, in Cass County District Court, ND. He was sentenced to five years, with two years’ supervised probation.

Police emphasize that Bever is not currently wanted and has served his court-imposed sentence. The notification aims to ensure public safety and is not intended to incite fear or vigilantism. Residents are warned that harassment, intimidation, or threats against Bever, his family, landlords, or employers will result in prosecution.
