JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com/Jamestown Chamber) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ag and Energy Committee recently held the annual Farmer Appreciation Festival on Thursday, July 18th.
This annual event celebrates the vital farming and agriculture industries with socializing, recognition, food, prizes, and entertainment.
Agricultural Woman of the Year: Hayley Wolf
Hayley Wolf was honored for her devotion to ranching and agriculture, overseeing her ranching operation with her father while managing family life as a mother of three. Active in Triumph Inc. and the Jamestown Kiwanis Club, Hayley balances her ranching duties with community service. She has owned her herd of cattle since the age of four and continues to be passionate about agriculture, particularly cattle.

Young Farmer of the Year: Taylor Zenker
Taylor Zenker of Gackle received the Young Farmer of the Year Award for his leadership in transitioning his family’s farming operation in Logan County. As a third-generation farmer and rancher, Taylor has expanded the grain operation and taken on full management responsibilities. He is a member of the North Dakota Stockman’s Association and the American Angus Association, known for his work ethic and leadership qualities.
