VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Tommy Bergan was sworn in as a school board member for the Valley City Public School District on July 17th. He’ll serve a three-year time for the “At Large” position held by Chris Grafing. Grafing decided not to seek a full-term after serving one year filling out the remaining term of a previous board member who moved to another state.
During the annual school board meeting and reorganization of the school board for the 2024-2025 school year, Sheri Horsager was nominated to be the school board president by Phil Hatcher. In a 3 to 2 vote, Horsager was selected to replace Ryan Mathias who served as school board president for several years.
The school board selected Darin Anderson to be vice-president of the Valley City Public School Board at the meeting on July 17th.
