JAMESTOWN- An early lead got away from the Jamestown Eagles as a 7-0 advantage turned into an 11-7 loss to the Mandan A’s on Tuesday at Jack Brown Stadium.

The Eagles (9-13) got two in the first and five in the third for a 7-0 lead.  But the A’s scored seven in the fourth to tie the game and a run in the sixth for the lead.  They added three in the eighth to set the final margin.

Nate Walz and Tyson Jorrisen each had three hits for the Eagles.  Walz added three RBI in the loss.

Jamestown will host the Minot Metros in a doubleheader on Thursday beginning at 4pm.
