JAMESTOWN- The NCAA officially accepted the University of Jamestown to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in Division II on Thursday afternoon, ending a long process and ensuring the future home of Jimmie athletics beginning with the 2025-26 academic year.

Furthermore, the NCAA granted UJ an expedited year of full-time membership.  This means that the 2024-25 academic and athletic year will count towards the three years Jamestown would have had to wait before being postseason-eligible, making all Jimmies teams eligible for Division II postseason play in the 2027-28 season.
