WISHEK- Grady Shipman homered for a third time in four games, Max Whitman had three hits, and Carrington (8-2, 3-0) scored multiple runs in every inning in a 16-6 five-inning romp over Wishek on Tuesday.
The offense started immediately as after Jack Erickson reached to begin the game, Shipman launched a home run for a 2-0 lead. Post 25 would add four in the second, two more in the third, six in the fourth, and two more in the fifth.
Whitman scored four times and drove home a pair, Ryder Bickett was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and Kyle Johnson tossed three innings to pick up the win.
Carrington will next be in action Friday in Pool Play of the Phil Brown Classic in Jamestown, facing Cando at 3:30pm and the Jamestown Eagles at 7:30pm. Pool Play concludes Saturday at 3pm against Elmwood (Manitoba).
