FARGO, N.D. (NDHP) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP) said one man is dead and another suffered non-life-threatening injuries in two separate crashes where one motorcycle crashed and another following bike tipped near Walmart in south Fargo Saturday night June 29th.

Fargo police say officers were called to 55th Avenue South between 38th Street and Tillstone Drive just before 8:30 on a report of a single motorcycle crash. The rider lost control, struck a curb, and was thrown from the bike, hitting a light pole.
The officers began life-saving measures on the rider who police say was a 19-year-old Reese Lewis of Wahpeton was taken to a hospital where he died.

The second rider tried to avoid the first crash and tipped the bike. 19-year-old Devin Privratsky, also from Wahpeton, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Essentia Health. Both riders were wearing helmets. Both crashes remain under investigation by Fargo police and the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
