MONTPELIER, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Stutsman County has announced a recount of the City of Montpelier Measure #1 from the 2024 Primary Election.  The measure was regarding the publication of city governing body minutes.

The recount will begin on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. County Auditor and recount employees will review ballots starting at 8:30 a.m. and continue until the process is complete.

The Recount Board is tentatively scheduled to meet on July 2, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. to certify the recount results. The meeting will take place in the Commission Room on the main level of the Stutsman County Courthouse, located at 511 2nd Avenue SE, Jamestown, ND.
