JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) –  The 126th Stutsman County Fair kicks off Wednesday, June 12, offering a blend of entertainment for all ages, according to event organizers.

The Stutsman County Fair, North Dakota’s largest county fair, runs through Saturday, June 15. The midway and gates open at 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday and at 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Rides are already set up for the fair, and Amusement Midway Providers will offer 22 rides.

Mega ride passes are only available online until Wednesday, June 12th at noon.

The fair also features free live entertainment each night at 8 p.m. Local band The TrainWrecks will perform on Wednesday, playing a mix of old-school country and rock ’n’ roll.

Eli Alger and The Faster Horses, a country band, will perform on Thursday, followed by rock band Booz·N·Tuna on Friday.  Lizzy Hofer will perform on Saturday.

The Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show, sponsored by First Community Credit Union, will feature live performances on the midway.

The weenie dog races will return at 1 p.m. Saturday. The 4-H Parade of Champions is also scheduled for Saturday, along with S & R Production’s Barrel Jackpot, with exhibitions starting at 11 a.m.

Stutsman County 4-H’ers will participate in livestock shows beginning Wednesday, featuring 160 exhibitors.
