JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Here are the unofficial results from Stutsman County from Tuesday’s primary.
United States Senator:
- Republican: Kevin Cramer with 98.82% of the votes (1,842 votes). Write-ins accounted for 1.18% (22 votes).
- Democratic-NPL: Katrina Christiansen with 99.61% of the votes (515 votes), with write-ins at 0.39% (2 votes).
Representative in Congress:
- Republican: Julie Fedorchak led with 49.77% (1,080 votes), followed by Rick Becker (24.75%, 537 votes), Cara Mund (19.59%, 425 votes), Alexander C. Balazs (5.07%, 110 votes), and Sharlet Mohr (0.78%, 17 votes). Write-ins totaled 0.05% (1 vote).
- Democratic-NPL: Trygve Hammer secured 69.23% of the votes (342 votes) against Roland Clifford Riemers with 30.16% (149 votes). Write-ins made up 0.61% (3 votes).
State Senator District 12:
- Republican: Cole Conley with 99.58% of the votes (1,196 votes). Write-ins accounted for 0.42% (5 votes).
- Democratic-NPL: Olivia Schloegel secured 99.49% of the votes (389 votes), with write-ins at 0.51% (2 votes).
State Representative District 12:
- Republican: Bernie Satrom with 50.23% (1,093 votes), Mitch Ostlie with 48.94% (1,065 votes). Write-ins made up 0.83% (18 votes).
- Democratic-NPL: All votes were write-ins, totaling 22.
Governor and Lt. Governor:
- Republican: Kelly Armstrong and Michelle Strinden won with 69.16% (1,482 votes) against Tammy Miller and Josh Teigen with 30.47% (653 votes). Write-ins were 0.37% (8 votes).
- Democratic-NPL: Merrill Piepkorn and Patrick Hart secured 99.80% of the votes (511 votes). Write-ins accounted for 0.20% (1 vote).
State Auditor:
- Republican: Joshua C. Gallion with 99.25% (1,724 votes). Write-ins were 0.75% (13 votes).
- Democratic-NPL: Timothy C. Lamb secured 99.59% of the votes (486 votes), with write-ins at 0.41% (2 votes).
State Treasurer:
- Republican: Thomas Beadle with 99.65% (1,724 votes). Write-ins accounted for 0.35% (6 votes).
- Democratic-NPL: All votes were write-ins, totaling 20.
Insurance Commissioner:
- Republican: Jon Godfread with 99.77% (1,721 votes). Write-ins were 0.23% (4 votes).
- Democratic-NPL: All votes were write-ins, totaling 13.
Public Service Commissioner:
- Republican: Randy Christmann secured 99.48% (1,721 votes). Write-ins made up 0.52% (9 votes).

- Nonpartisan: Kirsten Baesler led with 56.78% (1,374 votes), followed by Jason Heitkamp (23.14%, 560 votes), James Paul (Jim) Bartlett (17.44%, 422 votes), and Darko Draganic (2.56%, 62 votes). Write-ins accounted for 0.08% (2 votes).
Judge of the District Court No. 3 Southeast:
- Nonpartisan: Brad Cruff secured 99.56% of the votes (2,016 votes), with write-ins at 0.44% (9 votes).
County Commissioner Unexpired 2-Year Term Stutsman:
- Nonpartisan: Amanda Hastings with 97.65% (1,954 votes). Write-ins were 2.35% (47 votes).
County Commissioner Stutsman:
- Nonpartisan: George H. Barnes with 28.07% (1,144 votes), followed by Mike Hansen (25.96%, 1,058 votes), Levi Taylor (24.86%, 1,013 votes), and Paul Belzer (20.47%, 834 votes). Write-ins accounted for 0.64% (26 votes).
Jamestown City Council:
- Nonpartisan: Robert Toso received the most votes with 1,215. Incumbents David Schloegel (1,189 votes) and Brian Kamlitz (1,177 votes) were also reelected. Pamela Phillips received 847 votes.
Mayoral and Council Races:
- Mayor Buchanan: Micheal Vetter won with 100% of the votes (14 votes).
- Mayor Cleveland: Chuck Janke secured 100% of the votes (5 votes).
- Mayor Montpelier: Scott Maurer won with 100% of the votes (14 votes).
- Mayor Woodworth: Candyce Wick secured 100% of the votes (6 votes).
- Council Member Buchanan: Terry Lund (56%, 14 votes) and Paulette Schumaker (44%, 11 votes).
- Council Member Cleveland: John Vandeberghe (57.14%, 4 votes) and Dalon Dehne (42.86%, 3 votes).
- Council Member Courtenay: Leif Bollingberg (53.85%, 7 votes) and Shane Moran (46.15%, 6 votes).
- Council Member Kensal: Jim Peterson (51.43%, 18 votes) and Gary Helgeson (45.71%, 16 votes).
- Council Member Medina: Write-ins (42.59%, 46 votes), Dean Moser (36.11%, 39 votes), Joseph Deede (21.30%, 23 votes).

- Medina Park Board: Damon Bosche (52.34%, 56 votes), Jahleel Opp (42.99%, 46 votes), and write-ins (4.67%, 5 votes).
- Streeter Park Board: James Anderson (57.89%, 22 votes) and write-ins (42.11%, 16 votes).
- Jamestown School District #1 Board Member: Aaron Roberts (99.40%, 1,657 votes), write-ins (0.60%, 10 votes).
