JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Daniel Buchanan, a dedicated public servant and longtime member of the Jamestown City Council, died Monday at his home, according to a death notice on Haut Funeral Home’s website. He was 86.
Buchanan currently serving his third term on the council, was first elected in July 2012. His commitment to public service extended beyond his role on the council; he also served as Jamestown’s municipal judge for two terms, from April 2, 1974, to April 6, 1982.
