VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Public School Board Election was held Tuesday, June 11th.

According to the unofficial results, Tommy Bergan received 428 votes while John Paul Jones received 190 vote. Bergan was elected to a 3-year term for the At Large position.

Business manager Jackie Cordie said a total of 619 ballots were cast in the June 11th, 2024 election.

One measure on the school district ballot was: Should the VCPS District No. 2 publish a record of the proceedings of the School Board in a newspaper of general circulation for the School District for the succeeding two (2) years.
