JAMESTOWN, N.D. (Jamestown Chamber/NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Beautification Committee is pleased to announce Jeremiah & Rachel Macdonald as the first Yard of Week winner for 2024.

The Macdonald’s yard is located at 250 17th Ave. NE.

Congratulations to the Macdonald’s on this beautiful yard and thank you for your efforts to help beautify Jamestown. They will receive a gift certificate to Flower Power, this year’s prize sponsor.

This program has been established to recognize those within the community that take pride in the appearance of their yard and do their part to beautify the community. The program continues through August 30th. Yards will be selected each week from nominations received and must be visible from the street. 

Thank you to Cavendish Farms for sponsoring this year’s Yard of the Week program. Recipients also receive $100 to a local flower nursery, a certificate, a free bag of fries, and a tour of the Cavendish facilities in Jamestown.
