VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Post 60 American Legion Baseball season in Valley City will begin with an eight-team tournament starting Friday.

Charlie Brown Memorial Baseball Field will host the tournament, which will see Valley City host Park River to wrap up Friday night at 7:30 PM.

The tournament begins at noon Friday with the Jamestown Blues facing Edgeley.  At 2:30 PM, Minot will face Carrington, and at 5:00 PM Grafton will take on Renville County.

Play continues in championship and consolation play Saturday and Sunday.
