MINOT – A good season for Jamestown Blue Jay Girls Soccer ended with a goal-scoring drought.

Fargo Shanley shut out Jamestown Saturday 1-0 in the fifth-place match of the NDHSAA Girls Soccer State Championship at Duane Carlson Stadium.

Molly Flaherty had the only goal of the match in the first half.

Jamestown (12-5-2), who had won Friday in penalties in the consolation round, went without a goal for the last 252 minutes of regulation or overtime play in the tournament.  Senior goalkeeper Olivia Sorlie and freshman midfielder Briella Martin were the Blue Jays named to the all-tournament team.
