VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – What started out as a felony call for service involving a vehicle in Valley City ended up as a misdemeanor citation for minor in possession of tobacco following a preliminary investigation by officers at the scene.

Officers with the Valley City Police Department and the Barnes County Sheriffs office responded to the call for service, stopped the vehicle and questioned the driver and other occupants before issuing a citation and releasing them. No arrest were made at the scene on Wednesday, May 29th in Valley City shortly after 6pm.
