JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Dollars for Scholars (JDFS), a program of Scholarship America, proudly announced the awarding of 51 scholarships totaling $53,500 at the Jamestown High School Awards Ceremony on May 1.

This year marked a significant milestone for JDFS, as they awarded over 50 scholarships for the first time. The ceremony also introduced three new scholarships, highlighting the community’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and honoring remarkable individuals.

Among the new additions, the Knights of Columbus established a scholarship in memory of Monsignor Jeffrey L. Wald, underscoring their dedication to fostering educational opportunities. Inspired Healthcare and Anne Carlsen also contributed to the expansion of educational support for deserving students.

Scholarship recipients were selected based on academic achievement and community involvement, including volunteer activity.
