We love the outdoors, but the news last week means we may love it even more in the future.  North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum announced the formation of the new Office of Outdoor Recreation.  It’s a separate office that will work with both the tourism and parks branches of the state to increase outdoor recreation in the state.

Outdoor recreation is a $1 trillion dollar business nationally, and adds $1.3 billion in economic impact, as well as 14,000 jobs, to North Dakota’s economy.

Now, the question is, “What should they be doing?”
