VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCEA) – Brinklyn Johnson has been awarded the Valley City Education Association Scholarship in the amount of $500.

This scholarship is for Valley City High School graduates that are pursuing a degree in education.

Brinklyn is majoring in Business Education with a minor in Health Education. She is expecting to graduate in the spring of 2025 from Valley City State University. She is very involved in her school and community including DECA, Viking Ambassadors, being a new student orientation leader and an assistant dance coach for VCHS.

Brinklyn is the daughter of Nathan and Nicole Johnson. She is going into education because she has a passion for teaching and wishes students to reach their fullest potential. She plans on doing her best to make connections to help her students succeed.
