VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City School Board approved the resignation of Mrs. Kristi Brandt, 7-12 Principal at Valley City Junior/High School.
Superintendent Josh Johnson said Kristi Brandt has served in the principal position in our school district for the past 14 years and will be moving on to become the new principal at Fargo South High School for the 2024-2025 school year. Throughout her tenure, Kristi has had many successes, including being named the 2015 Secondary Principal of the Year in North Dakota. Valley City High School was ranked the number one high school in North Dakota, according to US News, in 2021. For the past several years, the graduating seniors at Valley City High School have been leaders in Choice Readiness according to the ND Department of Public Instruction. Please help us congratulate and thank Mrs. Kristi Brandt for her leadership, hard work, creativity, and student-centered approach to education.
Johnson said the search for a new 7-12 principal at Valley City Junior/Senior High School has begun and the school district plans to have a new individual hired before the end of June.
