January 26th 1937 – December 21st 2023.  Clarence was born to parents Fred & Nova Heck, of Osnabrock, ND.  He was actually born in a car on the way to the hospital.  He attended school in Osnabrock.  He was an avid sports fan, he excelled in basketball and they even took state in 1955.  He married the love of his life, Carleen Thronsedt in July of 1964 and they have 5 children.  He began his career in 1957 working at elevators until he retired from Peavey Elevator in Valley City in 1995.  After his retirement, he began driving the taxi in Valley City where he loved to visit with everyone he picked up.

A funeral service will be held on May 11th at Our Saviors Church in Valley City, ND at 2:00pm.  Clarence is survived by his sister Betty Petterson of Osnabrock, ND, his children Robbyn (Ray) Hovland of Fosston, MN, Tammy Heck of Valley City, ND, Barb (Terry) Harpole of Dawson, ND, Jon (Kerri) Heck of Fargo, ND, and Dan (Danny) Heck of Seattle, WA.  Clarence has 15 Grandchildren, and 26 Great-Grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by brother William Heck and parents Fred & Nova Heck.  But the one he missed the most was his son Todd Heck.  Please join in celebrating Clarence’s life and remembering his bright smile and GIVING HEART!  A live stream will also be available on Our Saviors Facebook page.
