JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Soccer keeps winning and recording shutouts.
The Blue Jays picked up their seventh win and seventh shutout Tuesday, 3-0 over Bismarck Century at Rotary Field.
Amelia Newman scored first for Jamestown (7-1-0, 7-1-0 WDA) in the 18th minute. The lead doubled to 2-0 in the 66th minute on an own goal by Century. Maggie Godboldt scored the Blue Jays’ final goal in the 74th minute.
Olivia Sorlie made four saves in goal.
Jamestown shares the WDA lead of 21 points with Mandan and Minot. The Blue Jays will play Thursday night at Mandan.
