BISMARCK – Jamestown Blue Jay Boys Golf had a fifth-place finish Tuesday in the Bismarck Invitational on a rainy, cool day at Riverwood Golf Course.
The Jays finished at 336, nine strokes behind fourth place St. Mary’s.
Hunter Gegelman finished tied for 10th individually, shooting 80. Also for Jamestown, Jace Dillman and Vaughn Romsdal each shot 85, Luke LeFevre had 86, Camron Andersen carded an 88 and Nate Walz shot 95.
Century won the event at 313, nine shots better than Mandan. Jayce Johnson of Mandan was the medalist. He and Quinn Shillingstad each shot 72 and Johnson won in a playoff.
Jamestown will play Friday at the Minot Invitational.
