VALLEY CITY – Both Jamestown Blue Jays Track & Field teams took the titles Thursday at the Valley City Invite at Hanna Field.
Jamestown’s girls scored 193 1/2 points, 13 more than Valley City. Julia Skari picked up wins in the 100 meters (13.20) and in the 110 hurdles (16.31). Kinley Anderson won in the both the shot put (35’8″) and the discus (124’3″). Layna Hoffer cleared 5′ to win in the high jump.
The Blue Jay boys won easily with 189 points, besting Valley City by 58. Individual winners for Jamestown were Sam Anteau in the 1600 meters in 4:43.76 and Brady Harty in the 110 hurdles at 16.63.
