VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Valley City Junior-Senior High School went into a shelter-in-place situation briefly Thursday as crews responded to a gas leak.

The school was notified of the leak on Fourth Street North around 2:15 PM.  According to a release from Valley City Public Schools, students were put into a shelter-in-place to keep everyone from leaving the building and away from the leak.

An all-clear was given around 2:50 PM, and the school allowed for normal operations at that time.
