JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Victory Christian School is embarking on a new chapter with the launch of its “Growing Together” capital campaign, aimed at raising $5 million for the construction of a high school addition.
The campaign, announced on Tuesday, April 23, marks a significant milestone for the school, which plans to introduce its first high school class in fall 2025. With subsequent grades to be added annually, Victory Christian High School wants to provide a comprehensive education grounded in Christian values.
Currently catering to students from prekindergarten through eighth grade, Victory Christian School has seen a notable increase in enrollment, with 93 students compared to 53 in the previous academic year. This growth underscores the demand for quality Christian education in the community.
Of the $5 million target, $2.7 million has already been secured, thanks to contributions from 20 donors and a generous $500,000 grant from the Regional Workforce Impact Program. The school is optimistic about achieving its fundraising goal and commencing construction in the coming weeks.
The first phase of the project involves the construction of a 10,000-square-foot addition, including a new gym, commons area, kitchen, and classrooms. This phase also encompasses renovations to existing facilities to accommodate the expanding student body.
Looking ahead, Victory Christian School envisions a comprehensive campus equipped to meet the needs of its growing community. Plans for future phases include the development of additional academic pods, administrative offices, and facilities for community and athletic events.
