VALLEY CITY – Jamestown Men’s Track & Field athletes Corbin Cornelius and David Martin won their events Tuesday at the Viking Twilight Track & Field meet at Lokken Stadium.
Cornelius won the 800 meters in 2:06.04, a season best time.
Martin was first in the 1500 meters at 4:13.80, his personal best.
Also, Kanyon Vermillion finished second in the 1500 meters, Shane Zancauske was third in the 110 hurdles, Ethan Sherva placed third in the 800 meters, Drew Hjelmstad was third in the 1500 meters, Luis Garcia was third in the 100 meters and sixth in the 200 meters, Shane Schnurr was fourth in the discus, Connor Smith came fourth in the javelin and Charles Eaton was eighth in the javelin.
The UJ track and field teams will compete Friday and Saturday in Moorhead at the Ron Masanz Classic.
