THOMPSON – Outside hitter Makenna Nold, who helped Jamestown Blue Jay Volleyball to a third-place finish at the 2023 Class A state volleyball tournament, has been chosen to take part in the North Dakota High School Coaches Association/Optimists All-Star volleyball matches in June.

Nold averaged over 19 kills a match in conference matches as the Blue Jays made the state tournament for the 10th time in 12 years.

The all-star matches will be held on Monday, June 10 at Horace High School in West Fargo and Tuesday, June 11 at St. Mary’s Central High School in Bismarck.  On each evening, introductions will be made at 6:45 PM and the match will begin at 7:00 PM.
