JAMESTOWN – One wild game and one shutout kept the Jamestown Softball winning streak going.

The Blue Jays won their fifth and sixth straight games Friday with a doubleheader sweep of Thompson 19-15 and 6-0 inside the Nelson Family Bubble on the University of Jamestown campus.

Game 1: Jamestown 19, Thompson 15

Sophia Bond had a double, two singles and five RBI to lead the Blue Jays (7-2).  Addie Graves homered for Jamestown.  She, Brooke Jackson, Torrie Mack, Jordan Mikkelson and Marissa Moltzen each drove in two runs.

Maddie Hoff struck out 10 in 5 2/3 innings for the win in the circle.

Game 2: Jamestown 6, Thompson 0

Makenna Nold was dominant in the circle for Jamestown (8-2), striking out 15 in a three-hit shutout.

Jackson drove in two runs.  Bond, Mack, Mikkelson and Lucy Falk each drove in a run.

Jamestown will play Central Cass and Fargo North Saturday in Casselton.
