FARGO, N.D. (HRRV) – Hospice of the Red River Valley is set to host a beam signing ceremony to mark the significant construction milestone of placing the final beam for Heather’s House.
The ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 19th at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at Heather’s House, located at 3800 56th Ave. S., Fargo, ND 58104.
Commencing with a welcoming and blessing, the ceremony will feature an impact update delivered by Tracee Capron, Executive Director of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Erik Barner, President of the Board of Directors, will also share an additional message, followed by the ceremonial beam signing.
Following the beam signing, there will be a designated time for photographs. Additionally, media representatives are invited to partake in refreshments and a tour of the Heather’s House facility.
Heather’s House will be the first freestanding, inpatient hospice house in the state of North Dakota. This state-of-the-art hospice care facility will address an unmet need for patients and loved ones in our region. Heather’s House will provide a peaceful, home-like residence for the terminally ill who need short-term care that cannot be provided in their home. Hospice staff will help alleviate end-of-life symptoms, provide spiritual and emotional support, and help families and caregivers through the grieving process.
