LEONARD, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two people from Lisbon were injured in a one vehicle rollover on Highway 46 about 4 miles southwest of Leonard on Tuesday, April 9th at 9:12 P.M.

The Highway Patrol said a 2005 Jeep Liberty driven by 21-year-old Jamilet Candelaria of Lisbon was westbound on Highway 46 when the driver left her lane crossing over the center line into the eastbound lane. Jamilet over corrected back into the westbound lane and drove into the north ditch. The vehicle continued through the north ditch then tripped and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on its roof in a nearby field.

Both Jamilet her passenger, Frankie Barron Candelaria of Lisbon were treated on scene by the Kindred Ambulance. Frankie, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. His condition has not been released. Jamilet sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo. Charge maybe pending against the driver in this crash.

Agencies Involved included the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Ransom County Sheriff’s Office, Leonard Fire and Rescue, and Kindred Ambulance.
