Valley City senior athletes Tesa Olson and Carson Eggert have been selected by the North Dakota High School Coaches Association as members of this year’s North Dakota Lion’s Class A/B All-Star Basketball Team.

Olson was named the Region 1 Senior Athlete of the Year and selected to the Class A State Tournament team, helping lead the Hi-Liners to a fourth-place finish in Minot. Other notable Class A/B girls team players include Sydney Schwabe of Thompson, Madison Johnson of Carrington, Raegen Zerface of May Port-CG, and Mataeya Mathern of Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier.

Eggert was named to both the Region One and Class A State Tournament teams while helping lead the Hi-Liners to a fifth-place finish at the Fargodome. He has been selected as an alternate for the Class A/B team.
