VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCPS) – Valley City Public Schools is announcing the hire of Jordyn Heck as the newly appointed Transportation and Facilities Director, effective immediately.
Superintendent Josh Johnson said with eight years of dedication to our school district, including three years as Facilities Director, Jordyn enters this new role with a proven track record of hard work and commitment. As Transportation and Facilities Director, Jordyn will spearhead the implementation of our district’s busing services, launching in the fall of 2024.
He said Jordyn Heck’s leadership and dedication have been evident throughout his tenure at Valley City Public Schools. Notably, in 2018, he played a pivotal role in the Restoring the Legacy Project at Hanna Field. Additionally, Jordyn’s innovative approach to facilities management resulted in the implementation of a new snow removal plan in 2021, leading to significant cost savings of over $100,000 for the school district in the 2022-2023 school year.
Jordyn, alongside his wife Jill and their three children, is a valued member of the Valley City community, having graduated from Valley City High School in 2004. We extend our sincerest congratulations to Jordyn on his appointment and eagerly anticipate the continued success and advancement he will bring to Valley City Public Schools.
