Oakes, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The LaMoure-LM Loboes thwomped the Oakes Tornadoes by a final score of 15-0 (5 inn). The Tornadoes were also no hit by the Loboes’ pitching staff with only 4 baserunners.

The game started well for the Loboes as they got the first 4 batters aboard and scored 3 of them in the first inning. Two runs would score on a 2 RBI double by Jacob Nitshke. The next 3 batters would go down in order. In the bottom half of the inning Chris Titus would earn a walk and get to 2nd on a fielders choice but that’s the farthest he and any other Tornado would get.

The Loboes would collect 2 more runs, both unearned, in the 2nd inning. Before hitting around in the 3rd inning plating 7 runs, 5 of which were earned, on 3 hits and 2 errors. Max Walock would be chased in the inning before recording an out and James Throener would take the mound for 2 innings. The Loboes led 12-0 after 3.

The Tornadoes continued to struggle at the plate as they would get Zade Heier on board via walk before Noah Wood would strike out and Throener and Titus grounded into fielders choices. The Loboes would plate 3 more runs in the 4th on 4 hits to get the game to its final score 15-0.

The Bank North Players of the Game were Noah Wood from Oakes for pitching and Jacob Nitchke for both pitching and hitting (3/3, 5 rbi’s).

The Loboes are now 1-0 and play in Shiloh on Saturday against Park River and Grafton.
