Breeanna Ward

WILLISTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Acquaintances last saw 27-year-old Breeanna Ward on Thursday, February 22nd in Williston where she lives with her boyfriend. Since then, she hasn’t contacted friends or family, despite them reaching out.

“Breeanna is a mother, daughter and my sister. Wherever she is, we hope she is OK,” said Chelsey Francis of Jamestown. “We ask the public for their eyes, ears and support.” Though Ward has posted to Facebook, Francis believes another individual is controlling the account.

Ward grew up in Amarillo, Texas before moving to Fairview, Mont. in 2011. She graduated from Fairview High School in 2014. Her history includes substance misuse as well as theft of property and shoplifting charges. Despite this, her history also includes multiple attempts at sobriety, including a stint from 2019-2022. Francis said her sister was working to get herself back into rehabilitation.

No matter what happened in the past, Francis said, her sister deserves dignity in the present. “No one has heard from her in more than a week. We ask the public to help. Whether it’s posting the flyer to social media or sharing tips with police, the more who are looking, the better,” she said.

Ward stands 5’6 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. Though she often changes her appearance, her hair is currently shoulder-length and a dark auburn color. The 27-year-old does not have a vehicle or permanent address.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Breeanna Ward is asked to call the Williston Police Department: (701) 577-1212.
