VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Environment Quality and the City of Valley City are working to document the presence of lead pipes in the city’s water system.

Moore engineering spokesman Tracy Eslinger talked about the survey.

City Administrator Gwen Crawford said your participation in this survey will go a long way in making significant improvements to our water system. She talked about some of the most asked questions coming into city hall about this survey.

As part of a nationwide initiative, the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality requests that residents and property owners in Valley City submit information on their water service pipe material. This initiative will allow water providers to document the presence of lead service pipes in their systems.
