GRAFTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Senior Ryan Hanson had 18 points to help the Grafton Spoilers defeat the Carrington Cardinals Friday night 79-44. Grafton improves to 17-3 overall, Carrington falls to 2-19 overall.

The Spoilers led 43-26 at the break and 67-37 at the end of three quarters. The fourth quarter was a running clock. Senior Grady Shipman led the way for Carrington with 18 points, including a 3-pointer. All five of Grafton starters were in double figures, Hanson led the way with 18, Kyler Droog had 14, Braylin Baldwin 12, Abram Sevigny added 11 and Tony Villarreal had 10.

Next up for Carrington will be Monday at No. 4 Devils Lake for another Division A Region 2 contest, KDAK 1600/100.1 and newsdakota.com will broadcast the game starting about 7pm.
