After Minot State defeated Jamestown in women’s hockey seven times during the regular season, the Beavers topped the Jimmies again on Thursday 1-0 in the first round of the Women’s Midwest College Hockey Tournament at LaHaye Ice Center.
Kaitlyn Snyder scored on the powerplay for Minot State at 7:36 of the second period.
Minot State (21-10-1) outshot UJ 47-17. Lilah Drew made 46 saves in the Jamestown goal.
UJ (13-17-0) will close their season Friday in the consolation round.
