SIOUX CITY, IA – University of Jamestown 133-pound men’s wrestler Isaiah Miller has been named as the Great Plains Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year.

Miller, from Sahuarita, Arizona, is the 133-pound GPAC champion, earning that title at the conference championships February 16-17.  He was also named first team all-GPAC.  Miller enters the NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championships with a nine-match winning streak and a record of 24-7.

Miller and Jake Rau will represent the Jimmies at nationals.  Rau is an at-large selection at 197 pounds.  He is 16-9 and placed fourth at the GPAC Championships.

The NAIA Men’s Wrestling National Championships will be held February 29-March 2 in Park City, Kansas.
