VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The district 24 Dem-NPL Convention was held on Sunday, February 18 in Valley City.

During the convention, delegates endorsed three candidates to run for the North Dakota Legislature in the November 5th general election.

Peder Gjovik was nominated to run for District 24 Senate seat. Shawn Olauson and Nancy Farnham were nominated to run for District 24 House of Representatives for the Dem-NPL party.

Meanwhile, the District 24 Republicans will hold their nominating convention on Friday, February 23rd in Valley City. Results from that convention will be posted next week.

District 24 includes all of Barnes and Ransom Counties.
