VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  Carson Eggert led three Hi-Liners in double figures with 20 points, but too many Burro offensive rebounds and too mucb Burro post presence led to a 76-70 win for Hillsboro-Central Valley over Valley City Tuesday.

Bryson Heck added 16 and Zach Sykora 13 for Valley City.  Burros Jacob Brandt and Landon Olson paced HCV with 25 and 22, respectively.

Valley City fell behind by 12 in the third, but Sykora hit a half-court three at the horn to cut the lead to eight.  The momentum carried over, and Valley City took the their only second-half lead on an Eggert takeaway in the fourth.
