GRANDIN, N.D. (NDHP) – A wrong-way driver faces multiple charges following his arrest on Interstate-29, 2 miles south of Grandin, North Dakota shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, February 19th.

The State Patrol received several calls about the wrong-way driver headed southbound in the northbound lanes of the interstate. There was a short pursuit, hitting speeds of 60 mph before a state trooper used a PIT maneuver that caused the driver to lose control, end up in a ditch along the interstate where it stopped, and the driver was arrested.

30-year-old Trevor Christensen of Dilworth, Minnesota, is charged with DUI, Driving Under Revocation, Reckless Endangerment, and Fleeing. He was not injured during the PIT maneuver according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol (NDHP).
