Fargo, North Dakota (NewsDakota.com)—The Bismarck girls wrestling team won the individual team title on Friday and made it a 2024 sweep at the Fargodome going 3-0 and defeated Minot 40-33 in the title match. Minot was the top seed from the west entering the tournament, Bismarck was the 2 seed (lost to Minot in the West region title match). Bismarck rolled past Fargo (3 seed from the east) 64-12 in the opening round and defeated Central Cass (1 seed from the east) 51-22 in the semifinals.
Bismarck Legacy finished in third place defeating Central Cass 42-30. Dickinson defeated Carrington 39-33 in the fifth place match . The Cardinals lost to Bismarck Legacy 51-18 in the opening round and defeated Napoleon-GS 42-36 in the consolation semifinal before falling to Dickinson in the 5th place match.
Napoleon-GS would claim 7th place with a 42-30 win over Fargo.
