YANKTON, SD – Nine women and 16 men competed for the University of Jamestown in the GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships February 16-17 at Mount Marty University.
For UJ women, Stephanie Chadduck cleared 5’1″ and tied for second in high jump. Jordyn Thorson was fourth in the 800 meters at 2:24.72. Mackenzie Bakken became an NAIA National Qualifier in pole vault, clearing 11 feet, 4 1/2 inches. Bakken finished fifth in this competition.
Dawson Sedivec was fourth in weight throw at 58 feet, 4 3/4 inches and seventh in shot put at 48 feet, 3 and 1/2 inches.
The NAIA Indoor Championships will be held February 29-March 2 in Brookings, South Dakota.
