VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Hi-Liner wrestling team will be represented in two finals at the state championships in Fargo.

Koltyn Grebel advanced to the finals at 133 pounds, and did so in dominating fashion yesterday at the Fargodome.  Grebel recorded three falls on the way to the finals, including a semi-final victory that was 9-8 in his favor before the fall over Bismarck’s Braeden Halverson.

Ethan Miller upset his way into the finals with a 9-1 win over second-seed Braeden Morris of Bismarck Century.  The EDC Senior Athlete of the Year was the three-seed in a weight class that is fairly new to him.

Ryer Muske and Dillon Hunt won single matches at 172 and 215, respectively, to stay alive to day two of the tournament.

Wrestling continues Friday.
