VALLEY CITY, ND – St. Raphael is thrilled to announce that it has received a 2024 Customer Experience Award from Pinnacle Quality Insight. This recognizes St. Raphael’s outstanding performance in Activities and solidifies their position in the top echelon of care providers nationwide.

Qualifying for the Pinnacle Customer Experience Award signifies that St. Raphel has consistently ranked within the top 15% of care providers across the nation over the past 12 months. This achievement underscores their unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to residents.

The Activities Department takes the residents and their needs very seriously. “We want the residents to continue to do as much or as little as they want. We work hard to know everyone’s likes and dislikes and then set up programing to meet everyone’s wishes,” expressed Cindy Schwehr, St. Raphael Activity Coordinator, “We have an amazing group of
people working in the Activities Department with the residents. They are an incredible team, and we are very thankful for each and everyone of them.”

Throughout the year 2023, St. Raphael engaged residents and their families in monthly telephone interviews. These conversations included open-ended questions and ratings across various categories. St. Raphael used this feedback to drive continuous improvement in their care.

“We have always strived to provide a wide variety of activity experiences for our residents. On any given day you might have Song Writing or Name that Tune going on, Therapy Ball drumming or Kitchen Band to Baking, Board Games, Educational lectures, and Bus rides.” Angi Hansen, St. Raphael, Music Therapist. “Our various activity staff members have a diverse set of skills and talents that help our residents get better engaged in group and 1-1 activities.”
